depends on the porsche... the Cayenne has a variety of engines, the VR6 V6, which is a DOHC, or an alloy DOHC V8. This particular Cayenne has a 4.8l twin turbo V8 with 550 hp. The flat 6 is what you'll find in the 911 993 and 997 models, also in the Carrera and various other porsches.
