i had a new silver 07 z06 and still would rather had the sl..i cant tell you how ridiculously hard the sl65 pulls from a dead stop..i was amazed. same feeling as if ur in a plane and it has that 1 gear continous pull feeling. but in reality with those modes on the z06 that time was slow..11.75-11.85 STOCK is the norm if you run down the 1/4 a few times. the description is true id say about not running to their potential

The weight of the AMG really kills it, its still a very fun car to drive, so is the CL63 AMG.

the driver on the Z06 is even worse!!! doesn't even launch the car .. just mashes the gas. The Z07 runs 11.5 stock ... one with headers and intake should easily run at least a tenth, maybe 2 tenths quicker.FACT: Z06 IS A QUICKER CAR THAN MB SL65 .. you cannot refute that ..

Nice run. Your cameraman SUCKS!!! Next time, get BOTH cars in the lin eup and keep BOTH car sin the viewfinder. Try ZOOMING IN as they get further away that way, you can at least get the times. And if you CHOP OFF THE VIDEO so suddenly, try posting the times and speeds in the end. Get some lessons in Video 101.
