I have been playing guitar since 1966, I've been trying to play flamenco guitar for twenty years, I have had lessons from great teachers in Spain, I've listened over and over to some of the great flamenco guitarists, slowed down records (vinyl) tapes etc to write tabs. I can only agree with beetledan on this one, it is tough to learn, but it is wonderful stuff to listen to and play, but don't forget that Vincente, Tomatito, De Lucia, and the great Sanlucar were practicaly born holding guitars

some weeks? How about some years!? Flamenco is hard! A lot of people try to teach flamenco but they don't really make it. A good teacher is the most necessary part of it and of course tons of practice! I have been at it a few years and I suck!!! It's tough!!

Buy yourself a real flamenco guitar, take a few lessons (about 4 or five years worth)and you will think metal is kid stuff...immature kid stuff!! A lot of "metal players" went over to flamenco!

Stevie, after about two hearings of "Callejon de la Luna," I experienced a spiritual lift [high] that lasted about 2 months. I felt tremendous love for thousands of people, wherever I went, especially Vicente. It's still there. Now, that's art. O'Ross, Li'l Old Lady Photographer

It depends on the song, really. For a normal player it takes some weeks at least to learn the song and develop the needed confidence to play it without having to worry about having to think the next note. This is because of the complex harmony of flamenco along with the fact that these people don't use scores. wow. However, this guy is not a "normal" player hehe. So...Anyway, this is not the fastest nor the most complex thing i've seen him playing.

like how much time does it takes for a guy like him to play a song he does not know but its as hard as this one ?como cuanto tiempo le tarda a un guitarrista tan bueno como el, el aprender a tokar un flamenco tan dificl como esta cancion, enpezando de cero ?
