I'm on the fence with her. I think that she does have quite a nice voice, but at times she is so coarse it hurts. She also tends to sound like a man at parts as well. I truely don't see what the big hype with her was about.

im knew to her.. this is her first video i see actually.. i was blown away n then i read comments that this is not her best and this wasnt her best vocal time... if not.. then give me links to videos where she IS in her prime.. and sounds the best cuz if theres better than this, i definitely wanna see it!!!!

I think this video proves that Callas didn't loose her voice cause she lost weight . . .She lost it due to bad technique, the same tone she was famous for you don't hear here because it was unhealthystill a extraordinary performer non the less! :D

This was taken when Callas was far past her best. But it still has a quality. The voice may not be there, but the drama and excitment are.
