To understand the art of Picasso its important to see the paintings in the context of the time he painted them in.This was the era of Poincaré,Kant and Einstein.Picasso may have been influenced by Poincare's non-Euclidean approach to geometry,(as well as Einstein)which was reflected in his work. These were deeply original and brilliant thinkers who set the stage for all that followed.

lol, see how great Picasso is? they make people argue!thats why his and other artists became famous; he creates divisions. One thing I can say about Picasso's works, its either you like it or hate it! well, me? I love it.Dunno and don't care about other people.hahahahaa.

You cant compare classic painting with the modern and or contemporary movements. You have all the right not to agree with this idea of art but You have to see the context in which each painting is made and the motifs. You say there is no composition or idea in cubism but actually there is a lot more study in it then in an impressionist's landscape.
