If this IS inspirational speech, i don't know what ISN'T! So far, this is absolutely lousiest speech I've ever heard! Totally uninspiring, OMG! Who could ever label this as inspirational speech, for crying out loud!

When you complain about the Britiash and Northan Ireland remember if the people of Ireland , both sides, could make an agreement we would be out ASAP. We don't gain anything form being there and most people wouldn't give it a second thought

I agree that still bringing up WW11 around football is stupid. The "concentration camps" you refer to was in the Boar War over 100 years ago. These camps, were civilians died, were not designed to wipe out a population. Finally if we go back over any country's history we will find facts that we do not like. And before you dump me in the "English Nationalist" bag my wifes family has catholic Irish history and my best friends from Ireland

Im afraid you're wrong there-the BA carried out many brutal killings of civilians here in Ireland. What the hell do you think people were fighting for?It fits nicely into the British psyche to place themselves as the peace makers, stopping us white wogs from mindlessly killing eachother. The BA,as THE main tool of the British state had a very central role in the conflict here.In fact,if it werent for them-there would not have been conflict in the first place.Google relatives for justice.

llokkee and dagenhamdave. The British Government decrees terrorism! The BA is not perfect or free from scrutiny and I am sure civilians have died but I can not remember the BA ever taking civilians out and lining them up against a wall, bombing homes, schools etc. In most conflict round the world what would the response of an army to the death of their soldiers be?If the people of Ireland could agree we would be out of there ASAP what are we gaining from being there

the uda is a product of pira terrorism, without the bombings and murders of pira there would not be an uda, old chap.

Your missing the point arent you old chappy.UDA-are they not a nasty terrorist organisation who are hellbent on murder and mayhem?Thats what the glorious British government decrees.British army-are they not a peace loving lot who are the leading lights of freedom and brave upholders of democracy and love and pureness?I fail to see how the two can be reconciled.Unless of course we look at the facts. But those facts may just be a tad bit uncomfortable for some to bear.

So tell me oh lord of wisdom, whats so out of touch about pointing out that the British army have carried out many atrocities here in Ireland-not just since they came back 40 years ago but since they first invaded,800 years ago?Say what you will about the IRA,in part you may be right. But there can be NO comparison made between the actions of the IRA and those of the British army-an army that has butchered its way across the globe for centuries for powerhungry greedy warmongering regimes.
